Resources for Small Business Owners
- Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) provides loan forgiveness for retaining employees by temporarily expanding the traditional SBA 7(a) loan program. PPP resumed April 27th, 2020.
- Economic Injury Disaster Loan Emergency Advance (EIDL) will provide up to $10,000 of economic relief to businesses that are currently experiencing temporary difficulties.
- SBA Debt Relief provides a financial reprieve to small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
US Chamber of Commerce
The US Chamber of Commerce's Coronavirus Emergency Loan Small Business Guide and Checklist (also available in Spanish) was created for small businesses looking to make use of CARES Act emergency loans.
US Department of Agriculture (USDA)
The USDA has created a resource matrix (available in English and Spanish) to organize funding opportunities identified in the CARES Act and other federal resources that support rural America. Opportunities are categorized by customer and assistance type.
Adams County Development Council (ACDC)
ACDC has assembled a team of partners and raised more than $80,000 to create a one-time Adams County Small Business Emergency Grant valued at $1,500 per applicant. There is still time and funds available for small business owners to apply. To be eligible a business must:
- Have a valid Washington State business license
- Been in business for a minimum of one year
- Have 10 or fewer employees.

Washington Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
The SBDC has many resources for small business, including resiliency workbooks, webinars, business resources related to protecting your business, and a COVID-19 page. SBDC advisors can also provide one-to-one assistance to help you think through your options and make informed decisions.
